As I witnessed this the other day, it made me realize that there comes a time when mothers and daughters finally begin to interact as peers, and that time is approaching for Kay and Kate. I am not surprised by this, as I know boys grow into men and share all sorts of masculine rights of passages with their fathers, they just aren’t fashion-related, that’s all.
