Our most recent trip to the movie theater cost over $100 for tickets and snacks. That is just too expensive to see any run-of-the-mill movies. I usually use our credit card rewards points to get movie ticket vouchers, which helps to soften the blow, but even then they charge you extra for 3D glasses (glasses you have to return at the end?) in a movie that you don’t even want to see in 3D! I look forward to the day when I can buy a viewing of first-run movies at home!
